Prague, Czech Republic, is a very popular destination for holidaymakers from all around Europe who want to taste something different right on their doorstep and at an affordable price. Going to Prague for the weekend has become almost a trivial holiday nowadays. So many people go there it is almost inevitable to see someone you know at the Charles Bridge! As it is human nature to always look for the next big thing, or in this particular instance, the next big place, so let us think which one might this place be. How did Prague become popular in the first place? Well, no visas required (EU), cheap flights, cheap accommodation, cheap entertainment. Few other places fit this profile and one of them, which I might suggest will be the next big place for tourists is Sofia, Bulgaria! Since Bulgaria is part of the EU there are no visa restrictions for Europeans, the flights are very cheap with many companies operating flights to Sofia and for some the best part it is even cheaper than Prague!!! Sofia boasts an amazing nightlife. This enormous multicultural city is a city that never sleeps. You can find clubs working every night of the week, not only weekends. In most clubs, there is not a set time when the club closes, so you can stay all night and, if you have the strength, all morning! The food is also of good standard boasting a wide range of dishes to suit even the most capricious of tastes. A pint of beer costs less than £1 in 90% of restaurants and less than £2 in the other 10%. Food, accommodation and spirits are very cheap as well. Car rentals are even cheaper than us car rental. So do not waste any more time, book a trip to Sofia!

France has always been known as one of the best places to go for a vacation, whether you are a young, single, an aging couple, or newlyweds. Here are five reasons why France is, and always has been, a favourite tourist destination.
1. Romance. When people think of France, and more specifically Paris, romance always springs to mind. The beautiful surroundings and dimly lit cafes and wine houses make Paris a great place for new lovers or even older couples More

Go almost anywhere in the world today and you will come across an ambivilance, maybe even hatred, of the english. This is due to our interntional reputation as opressors or even warmongers - we just have to accept that our government has put us in this situation.
However there is one place that we can go where we are truely loved - the USA. (You will note that I have stressed the “english”- for even the scottish here are batting More
If you’ve ever gone backpacking, you’ll know that your accommodation gives a pretty good idea of the place you’ll be staying. Clean, well-equipped hostels with very few other guests are usually found in cities that are, well, neat, pleasant and devoid of tourists. Larger, livelier cities have a host of hostels in the heart of town, but don’t be surprised to find to come back at 3am and find your bed has been let to another visitor, who still wants More
Hey! Do you want to contact me? Use the form below, I will try my best to respond next time that I am at an internet cafe. And if the question is “What is Brindisi?” The answer is a town in Italy. A lovely town in Italy, you should go, you would like it!
Hello and welcome to Brindisi Shop travel blog. I think that in this first post I should really explain what I am all about. Basically I decided that it would be a good idea to take a gap year and travel all around Europe (maybe even the world) with no plan, and no dates lined up. I am pretty much just going to leave and then tell you about all of the adventures that I have on this blog. If the posts are a little bit random it is probably because I am not taking a computer with me, so I will be doing all of my writing at internet cafes along the way! So what’s up with the URL? Well I just found it and decided to buy it really. Plus I really like Brindisi, I think that it is a fantastic little town in Italy, so hopefully I will be stopping there sometime along the way as well! So if you fancy reading about my many adventures, than watch this space!
